Role Summary
The Energy Sales Specialist will focus on the sales and marketing of ICE’s energy-related services, including oil, targeting global clients. This role requires client visits, seminars, prospecting, and marketing to drive regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing, sales, and product development for ICE’s energy business
- Drive regional growth through client visits, seminars, prospecting, and marketing activities
- Report to the Head of Energy Sales, Asia Pacific
- Collaborate with the sales team to capture business in the region
- Support operational tasks: account setup, system connectivity, exchange & clearing access
- Cross-sell between exchange/clearing and data services
- Acquire new clients via referrals and networks
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Track and report Asia market share and trading volume trends
Requirements
- 3–7 years of client-facing experience in finance/commodity sector
- Knowledge of exchange-traded and OTC derivatives
- Business-level Japanese and fluent English (other Asian languages a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Strong IT skills, advanced Excel
- Excellent communication and CRM skills
- Team-oriented mindset
Language Proficiency:
- English: Business (TOEIC 735–860)
- Japanese: Fluent (JLPT N1)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: ¥9,000,000 – ¥13,000,000
