Job Description

Join a foreign-owned international logistics company headquartered in Germany as an Ocean Freight Export Coordinator. You will manage the entire export process of cargo, coordinate with customers, supervise agents, and ensure timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage shipping arrangements: reservations, data entry, invoicing, SI/shipping request/VGM/total weight confirmation, advance notification, tracking, etc.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed according to instructions
• Maintain accuracy of data in the system and reports to customers
• Coordinate with sales, pricing, and accounting teams to ensure smooth cargo handling per SOPs
• Review P&L for each job file and report issues (loss/high cost)
• Communicate efficiently with customers, carriers, vendors, and other parties
• Monitor outstanding issues and report major problems to your supervisor
• Ensure tasks are completed within deadlines
• Follow company/department policies and adhere to KPIs
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• 2–3 years or more experience in the cargo transport industry
• Knowledge of maritime transport, export documents, and export regulations
• Practical PC skills including MS Office
• Conversational English (TOEIC 475–730)
• Japanese: Native level

Working Hours

• 8:00–17:00 / 9:00–18:00 / 10:00–19:00 (8 hours actual, 1-hour break)
• Remote work possible 1 day per week

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: JPY 4,500,000 – 5,500,000
• Bonus: fixed salary + bonus
• Weekends, holidays, summer & New Year’s holidays, paid leave, sick leave, birthday leave (~125 days/year)
