Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute strategies for patent applications, acquisitions, lawsuits, and licensing
  • Prepare documentation for patent offices and courts
  • Conduct oral arguments
  • Collaborate with global companies, universities, and research institutions
  • Utilize legal and technical knowledge to analyze inventions

Requirements

  • Japan Patent Attorney qualification
  • 3+ years practical experience in patent-related work
  • Specialized knowledge in intellectual property
  • Schedule/task management skills
  • Strong writing and oral presentation skills
  • Business-level English (TOEIC 735–860)
  • Native-level Japanese

Working Hours

  • 09:00–18:00 (60-minute break)
  • Flex time system available
  • Discretionary labor system applied
  • Overtime: Yes (no separate overtime allowance)

Compensation

  • Annual salary: JPY 5,000,000–8,000,000
  • Includes patent attorney allowance
  • Full commuting allowance (12 installments/year)
  • Social insurance: Health, pension, employment, industrial accident compensation
  • Paid leave: 2 days after 3 months, 8 days after 6 months
  • Dormitory/Company housing: None
