Job Description

Med-EL Japan Co., Ltd., a leading provider of hearing implant solutions, is seeking a Repair Section Manager to oversee the Customer Service Department’s repair section. This role involves team and process management, interdepartmental coordination, and ensuring high-quality repair service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and staff of the repair department
  • Collaborate with and support related departments
  • Review and enhance repair processes and information management
  • Create and update manuals and repair documentation
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding repairs and estimates
  • Perform equipment repair and maintenance
  • Manage parts inventory and replacement part loans
  • Oversee shipping of repaired items to Austria HQ
  • Conduct internal and external training
  • Support database integration projects
  • Handle other customer service and repair-related tasks

Requirements:

  • Japanese: Native-level proficiency
  • English: Conversational (TOEIC 475–730 or equivalent)
  • Experience in technical/service engineering, preferably in electronics or medical devices
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and processes

Working Hours

Full-time, standard office hours (Monday to Friday)

Compensation

  • Annual Salary: ¥5,500,000 – ¥7,500,000
  • Monthly Salary: ¥458,333 – ¥625,000 (12 payments)
