Requirements:
■Qualifications
◆Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field
◆Professional Knowledge and Skills
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting under IFRS or USGAAP
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools
• Knowledge and practical experience with Japanese tax reporting
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
◆Language Skills
• Japanese: Native-level or equivalent
• English: Business-level proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
◆Preferred Traits
• Adaptable to change and capable of multitasking
• Strong sense of teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
• Analytical with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Payroll and contract review experience is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Description:
■Role Overview
As Finance Manager, you will lead financial operations and improvements that support business growth in Japan. You will serve as a strategic business partner within the leadership team and provide financial insights critical to decision-making. Beyond reporting past performance, you will proactively identify future risks and opportunities, driving sustainable growth.

■Key Responsibilities
◆Accounting and Finance
• Enhance global financial procedures and promote local process improvements
• Manage cash flow and optimize cash management
• Conduct monthly/year-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and enforce internal controls
• Ensure compliance with local laws and global policies, including taxation
• Collaborate with the global finance team on analysis, inventory, and cash management
◆Project Management
• Participate in ad hoc projects
• Improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and leverage benchmarks to drive enhancements
◆Administration
• Supervise administrative staff
• Oversee payroll, benefits processing, and vendor management
◆HR Development
• Train and develop team members in alignment with global standards and corporate values
