PTS Japan KK is a project management consulting company providing IT, AV, and architectural PM/FM services to global and major domestic companies. Founded in 1997 as a British foreign company, it became independent three years ago and continues expanding. The team is multicultural with 40% foreign employees, and most Japanese staff are bilingual.

Role Summary

The AV Consultant / Project Manager provides neutral AV consulting and project management services from the client’s perspective. The position involves AV system design, consulting, and project oversight, including collaboration with integrators and construction companies. AVSI professionals looking to transition to consulting are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client needs analysis
• Support AV system design (requirements organization, design review, equipment selection)
• Support vendor selection (RFP/proposal evaluation)
• Project management (schedule, quality, cost, progress tracking)
• Coordinate with integrators and construction companies
• On-site implementation support and inspections
• User training and operational support

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in AV design, AV construction, or AV project management
• English: business level (TOEIC 735–860)
• Japanese: business conversation (JLPT N2)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AVSI
• AVIXA CTS/CTS-D, PMP certification
• Experience with office relocation, renovation, new construction, hotel or shop projects
• Knowledge of AV systems (video/audio/control/network/lighting)

Working Hours

• 9:00–18:00 (1-hour break)

Compensation

• Annual income: JPY 5.5M – 7.5M
