Job Description
Lead a bilingual engineering team of multinational talent and manage one or two projects while communicating in English and Japanese.
Project 1: On-site Support Case Management
- Labor, quality, and issue management
- On-site work and training for team members
- Supported Devices: Client PCs, peripherals, network devices
- Examples: Network setup for major financial institutions; user support for foreign-affiliated Japanese branches
Project 2: Resident User Support Case Management
- Labor, quality, and issue management
- Example: Manage a 6-person resident support team at a foreign-affiliated Japanese branch
Requirements
- Experience leading operational projects (required)
- 3+ years in client device operations OR 2+ years in network/server operations OR 2+ years in IT infrastructure operations
- Experience creating operational flows and manuals (required)
- Positive, proactive, and professional mindset
- Flexible and adaptable to client site work
- Strong communication skills in Japanese and English
- Able to teach colleagues and analyze/improve operations
Preferred Experience:
- Network/server operation & monitoring
- IT support / help desk
- On-site IT equipment support
- Leadership experience
Language Skills:
- English: Business Level (TOEIC 735–860)
- Japanese: Business Level (JLPT N2 or higher)
Working Hours
- 9:00–18:00 (8-hour workday)
- Break: 12:00–13:00
- Shift or night work may be required depending on project
- Telework/staggered hours available
Compensation
- Annual Salary: JPY 5,000,000 – 6,000,000
- Monthly: From JPY 400,000 + allowances + overtime + incentive bonuses (twice/year)
- Example: 5M/year (age 29, 1st year); 5.5M/year (age 30, 2nd year)
- Salary increase: Twice/year
Holidays & Leave
- 120 annual holidays + 5 mandatory paid days
- Weekends and national holidays off (may vary per project)
- Year-end/New Year (5 days), special leave, maternity, childcare, self-care, sickness, anniversary, refreshment leave
- Paid leave usage rate: 86.9% (11.25 days/year average)
