CAD/CAM Machining Engineer – Plastic and Metal Parts

Employment Type: Full-time – CAD/CAM Engineer (Aerospace, Robotics, Industrial Machinery)

Yumoto Electric Co., Ltd. has been manufacturing custom-made plastic and metal parts for 83 years. Our parts are used in rockets, satellites, robots, and industrial machinery. You will conduct machining using CAD/CAM and advanced cutting machines such as machining centers and 5-axis machines.

Responsibilities

• Confirm machining feasibility
• Coordinate delivery dates and machining conditions with sales assistants
• Select cutting tools
• Create machining programs and operate machines
• Manage machining arrangements

Training is provided via OJT with senior engineers.

Requirements

• Strong interest in manufacturing
• University graduate (overseas graduates accepted)
• Science/engineering background
• Japanese communication ability (JLPT N2+)
• Logical thinking and teamwork

Compensation

• Mid shift: ¥3.1M+ annually (¥203,900/month incl. housing allowance)
• Two-shift system: ¥3.2M+ annually (¥210,000/month incl. allowances)
• Annual raise (July)

Working Hours

• Mid shift: 8:30–17:30 (75-min break)
