Job Description

Coherix Japan LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, configure, and support 3D sensors and I-Cite software on robotics dispensing systems. You will train customers, manage technical documentation, and provide on-site support to ensure optimal system performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install and configure Coherix 3D sensors and I-Cite software on robotics dispensing systems
  • Provide training to customers, integration partners, and distributors
  • Manage technical drawings, software updates, and customer scan data
  • Offer on-site technical support including setup, upgrades, and issue resolution
  • Travel to customer sites approximately three times per month
  • Support customers both within and outside Kanagawa Prefecture

Requirements

  • Experience with Windows software/hardware setup
  • Electrical/electronic technical support experience in relevant industries
  • Ability to travel within Japan (~3x/month)
  • English proficiency to read product specs and attend meetings (TOEIC 735–860)
  • Japanese: Native level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of vision systems, multi-axis robots, adhesive dispensing
  • Network with Japanese automotive manufacturers

Working Hours

  • 9:00 – 18:00 (60-minute break)
  • Overtime: Yes
  • Flextime & remote work: Negotiable

Compensation

  • Annual Salary: ¥5,000,000 – ¥7,500,000
  • Salary increase: Yes
  • Overtime pay: Yes
  • Note: Salary may vary depending on evaluation
