KPIT Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced HIL Validation Engineer specializing in automotive ECUs and system verification. This role involves test automation, HIL commissioning, cross-functional collaboration, and advanced work with automotive communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform HIL validation and commissioning for automotive applications
• Lead validation teams for various OEMs and ECUs
• Develop specifications for body functions, smartphone behavior (BLE, UWB)
• Conduct UDS-based ECU testing and test automation
• Data acquisition & analysis using CANoe tools
• Integrate HIL systems for CAN, LIN, DoIP, Ethernet
• Design & maintain HIL test systems for ECU validation
• Commission hardware for complete HIL setups
• Work with vendors to identify suitable hardware
• Develop automation using CAPL and Python
• Design CAN databases for logical architecture
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues
• Work with automated environments (Vector, NI, dSPACE)
• Develop test scenarios for functional, regression, system and HIL testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Design and develop vision-based HIL setups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of HIL hardware, Vector VT, CAN
• Python scripting knowledge
• Familiarity with CAN simulation tools
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, CANstress, flashing techniques

Language Requirements:

• English: Daily conversation level (TOEIC 475–730)
• Japanese: Business level (JLPT N2)

Compensation

• Annual income: JPY 5,000,000 – 10,000,000
• Monthly estimate: JPY 416,667 – 833,333
