Job Description
Infosys seeks an experienced HR Lead to manage the full employee lifecycle for Japan-based employees. This role covers HR operations, development, compensation & benefits, compliance, and government relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Onboarding: Plan and implement local onboarding, induction, and buddy programs, including graduates
- Employee Engagement: Build local communication models, manage events, and execute feedback-based engagement strategies
- Employee Development: Lead development, promotion, and training aligned with business outcomes
- Compensation & Benefits: Customize policy proposals for the region; manage compensation review and bonus programs
- Performance Management: Tailor PM activities to support ESAT and retention strategies
- Rewards & Recognition: Execute R&R programs regionally
- Compliance: Ensure HR practices follow local and global labor laws
- Analytics: Prepare dashboards and HR metrics reports
- Grievance Handling: Oversee grievance and disciplinary processes per SLA
- Government Relations: Represent HR in communications with authorities
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience
- Experience in fast-paced, multinational matrix organizations
- Experience managing HR programs for Japan-based employees
- Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of the HR lifecycle
- Familiarity with HR practices in the tech industry
- Analytical, self-driven, and problem-solving mindset
- Adaptable to ambiguity and change
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
Compensation
- Annual Salary: JPY 8,000,000 – JPY 11,000,000
