International Music Award Project Coordinator (Bilingual – Japanese/English)


Location: Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan

Role Summary

The International Music Award Coordinator manages the international secretariat for a major music award, including communication with overseas judges, on-site event operations, and administrative support. This is a bilingual role (Japanese/English).


Key Responsibilities

  • Liaison with overseas judges (emails, FAQ updates, internal coordination)
  • Judging progress management (scheduling, data collection, reminders)
  • Content translation and creation (email templates, FAQs, reports)
  • On-site event support (WhatsApp communication, reception, guest assistance)
  • Off-season production support (events, distribution, ad content)

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Japanese & English: Native-level
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Excellent writing skills in both languages
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Strong interest in music

Preferred:

  • Translation/interpretation or secretarial background
  • VVIP hospitality or entertainment industry experience
  • Knowledge of music industry (Japan & global)
  • Experience with Windows/iOS

Working Hours

  • 10:00–19:00 (8 hours/day), 2 days off/week
  • Remote work: 2–3 times/week possible
  • Business trips: possible within Japan during award season

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: ¥4,000,000+
  • Annual salary raise in April
