Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in the entire design lifecycle of rebar processing machines. This includes concept development, drawing, prototype creation, and performance testing. Your role will balance both new development and customization projects based on client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop rebar processing machines tailored to client requirements
• Create machine drawings and manage the design process from concept to prototype
• Conduct performance checks and test runs of the finished product
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and sales
• Occasional business trips to client sites (approximately once every two months, up to two weeks)

Job Requirements:

• Native-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
• Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 700 or above)
• Experience in overseas sales (any industry or region)
• Basic knowledge of trade administration
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Desire to use English skills in an international sales-related role
• Open to short-term business trips but not seeking overseas relocation

Working Hours:
8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (8-hour workday)
Average overtime: Approximately 20 hours per month

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary Range: ¥4.05 million – ¥5.55 million
• Monthly Salary: ¥240,000 – ¥335,000
• Bonuses: Approximately 4 months’ salary (based on performance)

  • 3rd year: ¥4.35 million
  • 8th year (Leader): ¥5.27 million
