Job Description

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Production Manager to oversee plant operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with GMP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety standards and GMP compliance in the production area
• Lead start-up, qualification, and optimisation of manufacturing plant operations
• Drive process improvements and implement lean manufacturing initiatives
• Manage team performance, training, staffing, and development
• Coordinate with QA/QC to address and prevent quality issues through CAPA
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans and allocate resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Minimum 5 years in regulated/GMP manufacturing industry in a similar role
• Experience in oral dosage form production preferred
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene sampling, data collection, analysis, and metric tracking
• Understanding of cGMP and modern safety programs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Native-level Japanese; business-level English (TOEIC 735–860)

• Annual Income: ¥6,000,000 – ¥8,000,000
