Established in 2021, the Japan office supports major domestic semiconductor manufacturers through equipment sales, implementation, maintenance, and technical consultation.

With rapid growth in the semiconductor sector, the company is now expanding its technical sales team in Japan.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for the sales of semiconductor test systems and related automation equipment. You will work closely with major semiconductor manufacturers, collect technical requirements, and coordinate specifications with engineering teams in Japan and Malaysia. The role requires strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, procurement teams, and overseas HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical sales of semiconductor testers (ATE, IC testers, device evaluation systems, inspection systems)
• Conduct regular customer visits to identify issues related to back-end / post-manufacturing processes
• Analyze customer workflows involving device testing, final test, burn-in, packaging inspection, and staging
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and specifications in collaboration with Malaysian HQ (in English)
• Lead pricing negotiations and manage the full sales cycle
• Support customer demos, evaluations, and production-site visits
• Participate in structured training: 1-week HQ factory tour + approx. 6 months of OJT
• Handle business travel (transportation and hotel fully covered)

Required Qualifications

Must Have

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in manufacturing or equipment sales
• Business-level English (TOEIC 800+ recommended)
• Native-level Japanese
• Ability to understand technical equipment and communicate with engineering teams

Preferred

• Experience with semiconductor production equipment, FA equipment, ATE systems, or inspection devices
• Understanding of semiconductor post-process manufacturing
• Experience in technical sales of precision devices

Working Conditions

• Hours: 9:00–18:00 (8 hours + 1-hour break)
• Overtime: Approximately 20 hours/month
• Night shifts: None
• Business travel: Required as needed (fully company-paid)

Employment Terms

• Type: Full-time, Indefinite contract
• Probation: 3 months (no change in conditions)
• Duty Change Scope: May be assigned to other company-defined tasks
• Workplace Change Scope: Possible transfer to domestic/overseas offices based on business needs

Compensation

• Annual Salary: From ¥5,000,000
• Monthly Base Salary: From ¥384,000
• Bonus: Once per year, performance-based
• Salary Increase: Available
• Commuting Allowance: Provided
• Overtime Pay: Fully paid (no fixed overtime)
• Salary Closing: End of month
• Salary Payment: 25th of following month
