Web Application Engineer / Programmer / Front-End Engineer

Job Overview

You will be responsible for the overall web production of in-house services aimed at eliminating communication barriers for international residents and travelers in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website coding (Japanese & English)
• UI/UX improvement for PC and smartphone versions
• Page speed optimization
• Building new websites

Team Structure:

• 2 in-house staff (1 foreign national, 1 Japanese)

Working Hours

• 09:30–18:30 (60 min break)
• Flexible work hours
• Remote work possible twice a week after 6 months

Requirements

• 3+ years of web coding experience
• English communication (writing not required)
• Non-native Japanese speakers: JLPT N2 or above
• Experience with WordPress

Preferred Skills:

• Web design
• English website production
• Basic video creation

Expected Qualities:

• Eager to grow and support the company’s mission

Language Requirements:

• English: Business level (TOEIC 735–860)
• Japanese: Business level (JLPT N2 or above)

Salary & Benefits

• Annual income: ¥4,000,000–¥5,000,000
• Monthly salary: ¥245,500–¥367,900
• Performance-based bonus (average 2 months’ salary)
