Job Description
Support the Japan accounting team with financial, governance, and control tasks. Contribute to accurate and timely internal and external financial statements and compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end closing, perform reconciliations, and investigate variances
Reconcile key accounts to subledgers and trial balances
Manage general ledger usage and review daily transactions
Post journal entries in SAP and reconcile in Blackline
Conduct financial statement reviews for accuracy and compliance
Ensure transaction accuracy with proper coding and cost centers
Complete year-end closing, IFRS questionnaire, and disclosure reporting
File local statutory and tax reports; coordinate with auditors and tax advisors
