Company Overview
A Japanese sewing company producing and selling premium uniforms in Japan and Vietnam. Specializes in medical wear, workwear, and women’s uniforms for financial institutions and airlines. The company is seeking Japanese apparel technical instructors to improve quality control and productivity in domestic and overseas facilities.
Role Summary
The Apparel Technical Instructor is responsible for improving quality stability and productivity across sewing and manufacturing lines. The role involves both technical training and factory management, and requires collaboration with head office and client teams. Vietnam-based roles may include long-term overseas business trips to Cambodia, China, and Myanmar.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall product quality control
- Production and manufacturing line management
- Sewing machine adjustment and maintenance
- Participating in client business negotiations
- Inspecting samples and preparing inspection reports
- Responding to head office feedback
- Training factory staff in apparel production standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sewing, machine operation, and pattern instruction
- Factory management experience (any scale)
- Japanese language: native level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with workwear, medical wear, or women’s uniforms
- Overseas work experience
- English and/or Vietnamese language skills
Working Hours
- 8:00–17:00 (1-hour break)
Compensation
- Vietnam hire: USD 2,500 – 3,500/month (gross)
- Japan hire: JPY 5M – 6M/year
- 60-day trial period (no change in pay)
Increments & Bonuses
- Salary raise: once per year
- Bonus: once per year (typically 2 months)
