Game Translator & Localization Specialist (Japanese ⇔ EN/ZH/KR/PT/AR)

Location: Tokyo (Koto-ku) or Osaka City, Japan

WitOne supports game developers and publishers with localization, customer service, and event planning. Handling 200+ titles annually with 40–50 partner companies, we work across mobile, console, and PC games.


Role Summary

We are looking for Game Translators & Localization Specialists to handle Japanese ⇔ English / Traditional Chinese / Simplified Chinese / Korean / Arabic / Brazilian Portuguese translations, proofreading, and project support.

Requirements

Required

  • Native-level English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Arabic, or Brazilian Portuguese
  • Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher)
  • Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Currently residing in Japan

Preferred

  • Business-level English
  • JLPT N1
  • Experience with translation tools
  • Interpreter experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly salary: ¥208,000 – ¥256,000
  • Annual income: ¥2,496,000 – ¥3,072,000 (based on experience & ability)
  • Allowances: night work, overtime (per minute), secondment ¥20,000/month
  • Evaluation: twice a year

Working Hours

  • 10:00 – 19:00 (minimal overtime ~10 hours/month)
