Mayr Japan is seeking a Sales Engineer to support business expansion. This role reports directly to the Business Development Manager and executes sales strategies aligned with Mayr headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new industrial fields and target customers
• Develop and execute sales plans
• Provide product introductions, technical proposals, and application-specific support
• Demonstrate product advantages and strengths
• Build long-term and trusted customer relationships
• Drive market penetration of Mayr products
• Analyze the Japanese market and reflect findings in annual plans
• Follow the order process with consistent reporting and follow-up

Mayr Japan LLC was established in 2020 as a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Working Hours

9:00–17:30 (1-hour lunch break)
Flextime and remote work available.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering (university, college, technical high school)
• 5+ years’ technical sales experience at a foreign company or machinery-import trading firm
• Sales experience with Japanese machinery manufacturers
• Direct negotiation experience with Japanese R&D/design engineers
• Language: Native Japanese + business-level English or German (including technical discussion)

Preferred Qualifications

• Desire to work in a startup-style subsidiary
• Team player with initiative
• English: Business level (TOEIC 735–860)
• Japanese: Native level
